(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Athletic Department held its annual athletic awards program on Monday, April 23 in Kiehle Auditorium on the Minnesota, Crookston campus. The event honored the 2011-2012 senior class, recognized the Male and Female Student-Athlete of the Year, Outstanding Male and Female Athlete of the Year, and individual team award recipients.
University of Minnesota, Crookston Student-Athlete of the Year honors were presented to senior women's basketball player
Megan Eul (Rosemount, Minn.) and junior men's basketball player
Almir Krdzalic (Sioux Falls, S.D.). Eul is majoring in early childhood education and is the daughter of Liz and Craig Eul. Krdzalic is majoring in biology and is the son of Najka and Samir Krdzalic.
UMC Outstanding Female and Male Athletes of the Year were recognized as freshman volleyball player
Brittany Looker (Rochester, Minn.) and junior football player
Richard Haley (Detroit, Mich.). Looker is the daughter of Sherry and Jim Looker. Haley is the son of Kanita Walker.

Almir Krdzalic (Sioux Falls, S.D.). Krdzalic was also the 2010-11 Justin Knebel Memorial Award recipient.
